# 16 An affirmation on Surrender I've said for awhile (6/3/23)

For as long as I can remember I have said the following to myself whenever I see angel numbers (i.e., repetitive sequence of numbers): please Lord, do with my life whatever you wish to do with it. I understand now that this is the ultimate act of surrender to the universe; to call in all that is meant for you without knowing at all what you will get. 

While it is not as often as when I was a teenager, I still say this phrase to myself often throughout the day, especially when I see 11:11. It brings me comfort; allowing me to lean into a blind trust that it will all be okay someday. Just to hang in there knowing that all the twists and turns are a part of the ride of life.
